Once you're logged in, you can create a new family tree from the sidebar dropdown by clicking '+ Create New Family'. You'll be prompted to enter a name and optional description for your new family group.

Yes! Go to the 'Admin' section in the sidebar. From there, you can invite family members via email and assign them either 'Editor' or 'Viewer' roles.

Open the 'Media' section from the sidebar, then use the Quick Add flow (choose 'Add media') to upload your photos. From there you can upload an image, add a caption, and specify when it was taken.

Absolutely. Your data is encrypted and stored securely. We never sell your personal or family data to third parties. You retain full ownership of all content you upload.

Yes, you can create and manage multiple distinct family groups within a single account. Use the family switcher at the top of the sidebar to navigate between them.

Data export features (including GEDCOM format support) are currently in development and will be available soon during our beta period.

Currently, we support 'Owner' (you), 'Editor' (can add/modify members, photos, and events), and 'Viewer' (can only see the data but cannot make changes).

To completely delete your account and all associated family data, please send a request to support@getRoots.io from the email address associated with your account.

During beta, you get free access to all premium features. We may release updates frequently, and we highly encourage you to share your feedback to help shape the product.
